What You Are Renting
OHLALA Lockers provides luggage lockers and key boxes (keyboxes) in a secure, fully self-service space accessible 24/7, with no staff on site.
Lockers are available in three sizes (M, L, XL) to suit your luggage. Keyboxes are designed for key drop-off and pick-up, for both private individuals and professionals (Airbnb hosts, estate agencies, etc.).
This service constitutes temporary storage only. It is not a furniture storage facility, a long-term storage service, or an insurance policy. OHLALA Lockers does not provide permanent on-site staffing — security relies on an electronic locking system and 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
Your Access Codes
Upon booking confirmation, you will receive by email and/or SMS:
a Door Code to access the premises
a Locker Code to open your assigned compartment
a QR Code as an alternative to numeric codes, usable at the interactive terminal
These codes are strictly personal and non-transferable. Any use made under your identity is your sole responsibility. If you lose your codes, contact us via the website or the assistance notice displayed in the premises — identity verification will be required before any unlock. After 5 incorrect attempts, the locker is automatically locked for 30 minutes.
Pricing
Prices vary depending on locker size, chosen duration and season. The final price, inclusive of all taxes, is displayed at the time of booking.
From €2. Full payment is required online at the time of booking (credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). No cash payments accepted. Access is only granted once payment has been successfully validated.
Overtime
Any time exceeding the booked duration is automatically charged in 3-hour increments to the payment method on file. You will receive an alert by SMS and/or email 30 minutes before your rental expires. Extensions can be made via the platform or the terminal, subject to availability.
Prohibited Items
The following categories are strictly prohibited in lockers and keyboxes:
Dangerous or illegal: weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks · drugs and illegal substances · radioactive, chemical, biological or toxic materials · compressed or flammable gas · corrosive products
Inappropriate: live animals · perishable food · waste and rubbish · liquids not hermetically sealed · items exceeding the dimensions of the chosen locker
Electronic and technological equipment: laptops, tablets, smartphones, cameras, camcorders, hard drives and any valuable electronic or IT equipment — these items exceed our coverage limits and must not be stored in a locker
High-value items beyond coverage limits: cash above €200 · jewellery, watches, precious metals, gemstones · works of art, antiques, collectibles
Official documents: passports, national identity cards, residence permits — permitted in transit only, maximum 2 hours
If a prohibited item is discovered: immediate opening of the locker, authorities alerted if necessary, all costs incurred charged to you, contract terminated without refund. Your civil and criminal liability is engaged.
Insurance and Liability
OHLALA Lockers is only liable in the event of a proven and documented failure of its own security system. In that case only, compensation is capped at €1,000 for lockers and €300 for keyboxes, regardless of the actual value of the items stored.
We are not liable in the event of: deposit of prohibited items · disclosure of your codes to third parties · locker left improperly closed · natural deterioration of stored items (oxidation, mould, etc.) · any incident occurring after expiry of your rental · force majeure or any event beyond our control.
⚠️ For any item exceeding these limits, please take out personal insurance. We strongly advise against storing irreplaceable or high-value items in our lockers.
Cancellation and Refunds
No refunds are granted, except in the event of a proven technical failure attributable to OHLALA Lockers. Specifically:
Cancellation before receiving access codes → no refund
Cancellation after receiving access codes → no refund, the service being considered as commenced
Early departure → no partial refund for unused time
False information provided at booking → cancellation without refund
Proven technical failure attributable to OHLALA Lockers → full refund if the rental could not start, or pro rata refund for the period of unavailability if the failure occurs during the rental
Any claim must be reported within 24 hours via the contact form or the assistance line. Beyond this period, no dispute can be considered.
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply: by completing your booking, you expressly consent to the immediate commencement of the service and waive this right.
If You Have Not Collected Your Belongings
Beyond the booked rental period, overtime charges continue to accumulate automatically on a pro rata basis in 3-hour increments, charged to your payment method.
After 72 hours of unresolved overtime, the following procedure applies:
OHLALA Lockers attempts to contact you by email and SMS
If no response within 48 hours, a formal notice is sent by email
After this deadline, the locker is forcibly opened in the presence of a witness (call-out fee: €50, charged automatically) · an inventory of the items found is drawn up
Items are kept for 30 days in a secure location, with storage fees of €3/day charged automatically
If no claim is made within 30 days: items are handed over to the authorities, donated to charities or destroyed depending on their nature · items of obvious value are systematically handed over to law enforcement
If dangerous or suspicious items are found during a forced opening, the authorities are immediately notified. You remain entirely responsible for all resulting legal and financial consequences.
Your Obligations
You agree to: use the locker for personal purposes only, in accordance with the intended use of the service · not force, damage or attempt to alter the locking system · not sublet or transfer your locker · not allow unauthorised third parties to enter the premises using your Door Code · vacate the locker on time · report any malfunction immediately.
Any intentional or negligent damage will be invoiced based on the restoration quote, without prejudice to any civil or criminal proceedings.
Our Obligations
OHLALA Lockers commits to: ensuring the security of the premises through electronic access control, individual codes and 24/7 CCTV surveillance · guaranteeing the proper functioning of locking and access systems · providing valid and operational codes upon payment confirmation · responding to any claim within 10 business days.
OHLALA Lockers cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or any event beyond its control, including: natural disaster, fire, flood, terrorist act, prolonged power or telecommunications outage, pandemic, or administrative order. In such cases, you will be informed as soon as possible and refunded on a pro rata basis for the period of unavailability.
Complaints

OHLALA SAS is affiliated with the CM2C mediation service — Centre de Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice: www.cm2c.net — 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris. French law applies.
